Eric  A. Checketts, Attorney

Eric is an attorney who is passionate about all aspects of the law. His mission is to make legal services affordable and accessible to the community.  Clients are consistently impressed with the speed, quality, and attentiveness of Eric’s work.

Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Brigham Young University–Idaho and his Juris Doctor from The University of Iowa College of Law.  While attending The University of Iowa College of Law, he served as president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and was published in the Journal of Corporation Law.

When Eric is not doing estate planning, setting up businesses, or otherwise filling clients’ legal needs, Eric serves as an adjunct professor at Iowa Western Community College. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and children. Eric is active in his church and in the community, always looking for opportunities to serve where needed.
